The Palafox House, located at 196 North Palafox Street, is the newest addition to Great Southern Restaurants, parent company of the Fish House, Atlas Oyster House, and Jackson’s Steakhouse. Melissa Bailey has been with Great Southern Restaurants for the past 15 years. Since the age of 15, she has worked her way to her current position, Director of Catering and Private Events. With her experience in both front and back of the house operations, she has everything it takes to execute any event large or small from start to finish. Melissa is a native of Pensacola — and planning to stay that way by continuing to build roots with friends, family and loyal customers — she is the perfect person to trust any event that is important to you.
Rylee Hart has been with Great Southern Restaurants for the past three years. A Pensacola native, University of West Florida graduate, Hart brings a wealth of knowledge to our clients about Pensacola and our community. Prior to joining Great Southern, Hart worked as an assistant wedding planner and since joining our team, she has planned and coordinated hundreds of private events. Hart will ensure your event is seamless – from start to finish – for your most special day.
Ashley Bliss is the newest addition to the Great Southern Event team. A University of West Florida senior, specializing in hospitality, Ashley brings a wealth of new industry knowledge to our team. She has worked in the food and beverage industry for the past four years gaining insights on special event creation and production. With a strong focus on details, Ashley guides clients through each and every step of the event creation, planning and execution process for a truly memorable event.
